This page is dedicated to our Terms and Conditions to give you general information about our business and who we are. Please read carefully the following information and make sure you understand it correctly.


"The Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Trades Centre”, "" - is in regard to "Trades Centre Ltd" registered at Unit 3, 158 Coles Green Road, London, NW2 7HW.

“Client” - means the person, company or corporation, that uses the service as a client.

“Client’s Address” – is the billing address used by the client to place an order with us.

“Service” - refers to any services provided by Trades Centre.

Unless the context requires otherwise, a reference to the singular includes the plural and references to the masculine include the feminine and vice versa.

The Headings contained in Trades Centre's Terms and Conditions are for convenience only and do not affect their interpretation.


These Terms & Conditions represent a legally binding contract between Trades Centre and the Client.

Both parties shall ensure that their respective responsibilities under this agreement are undertaken in compliance with all statutory regulations and codes of conduct.

The Client agrees that they are in the age of 18 or above and any use of Trades Centre's services, including placing an order for goods over the phone, fax, email, and website forms, shall constitute the client’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

Unless otherwise agreed in writing by a director of the Company, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail over any other Terms of Business or Purchase Conditions put forward by the Client.

No variation or alteration of these Terms & Conditions shall be valid unless approved in writing by a director of the Company.


Trades Centre uses metric measurements when calculating quotations over the phone.

Product quotations over the phone, or in writing, are based on current stock availability and pricing of the products. If not accepted at the time of providing the quote or within the outlined in the quotation period, we keep the right to amend our prices accordingly, if necessary.

All prices published on our website are accurate to the best of our knowledge and we make every effort to keep our product pricing updated at all times. In the case of any pricing error or supplier price increase, which has failed to be published in a reasonable time, the Company reserves the right to Cancel the Sale.

4. VAT

All our prices are subject to VAT and are usually quoted as a final price, inclusive of Vat, unless otherwise stated.


To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the product descriptions, colours or other content available on the website including pricing and delivery information are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. Although we aim to keep the content of our website up to date and accurate, the information, including product descriptions, at a particular time may not reflect the product completely.


Samples of flooring products send out to Customers are a close representation of our products and they cannot be used as a full reflection of the wood flooring product. Since it is a natural product, no piece would be identical to another therefore no claims for variations in colour can be accepted.

Samples are usually shipped within 24-48 hours, depending on availability. Please allow 3-5 days after dispatch for samples to arrive through the post. 


Delivery prices provided on our website are based on the location, dimensions and weight of the goods. Delivery charges are subject to VAT.

Goods are delivered Monday to Friday, from 8 am - 5 pm (excluding Bank Holidays). The exact time of delivery is not always possible to be provided.

Although Trades Centre Ltd does put every effort to advise the correct delivery date we depend on partner delivery companies, therefore, we cannot be held liable for any additional costs that might result from not delivering the goods on the date advised, due to technical or weather conditions or any other reason for a delay. However, we will do our best to keep our customers informed of their delivery progress and any possible delays that might occur.

We are currently unable to accept orders that are billed or delivered to destinations outside of the UK.

The delivery vehicle is either a lorry or a van, so the delivery location should be accessible to those types of vehicles. In the case of obstacles, such as time, or road restrictions, you should notify us in advance to discuss alternative delivery options. You, or someone else who will be responsible for signing the Delivery Note, should be available on the day to meet the driver.

Delivered goods cannot be left in garages, gardens, porches or other locations different from the address provided unless previously agreed upon and by requesting such form of delivery we cannot be held responsible if the goods are lost of stolen.

All pallet deliveries are kerbside. The driver's responsibility is the delivery of any goods to the designated address access point only. The driver is NOT obliged to carry the flooring goods inside the premises due to Insurance and Health & Safety reasons and might need some help to unload it from the lorry. Therefore, please ensure that at least two people are present to carry the flooring goods inside your property as we are not able to help you with thqt. Inability to comply with the above-mentioned requirements might result in delivery cancellation and therefore additional delivery charges for the second attempt.

If your delivery arrives as arranged, but the courier is unable to deliver because the address is not accessable, there is no adequate help, goods are not accepted, or order is cancelled in transit (within 24hrs before the selected delivery date), you will be completely liable for all additional costs for the return of the goods to us or rearranging the delivery.

Trades Centre Ltd cannot accept any responsibility for any losses due to poor project management or delayed deliveries. We strongly advise booking installers only after you are in possession and you have already inspected the purchased goods.

Please make sure you have checked all goods received before booking flooring installers or commencing installation. Trades Centre cannot be held responsible for any losses arising from delayed deliveries, incorrect goods delivered or builders on site not awaiting delivery or delayed by faulty products received.


These deliveries are provided by Trades Centre.

Due to a recent fraud attempt case, a customer’s order is being delivered by Trades Centre a valid ID must be shown to the driver before releasing the order into the client’s possession.

All deliveries are recorded with CCTV-equipped vehicles and bodycams for fraud prevention.

If the customer is not able to attend the property and someone else will be accepting the products– family member, builder, neighbour, etc. we will need the full name of the person and that same person needs to sign the delivery note and show us an ID to verify his identity.

Acceptable ID’s can be ID card, Driving License, Debit Card, Passport, Company ID Card.

If the client or the other person accepting the delivery refuses to show us any form of ID, the order will not be released and will be taken back to our warehouse. Re-delivery charge will apply. 


Missing or damaged items should be reported within 24 hours from their receival, to Trades Centre on 020 88309787 and described on the delivery note. Failing to report missing or damaged items within 24 hours will result in your inability to claim a refund or replacement of these items.

Once the delivery is with you and before the driver has left:

  • Check if all the goods on your order have been delivered and if there are missing items;
  • Inspect the delivered goods for damage;
  • Sign the Delivery Note and return the driver's copy;
  • If you have noticed damage or missing goods, please make sure they are noted in the courier paperwork before signing for any goods.

Trades Centre cannot accept any responsibility for goods not reported as received damaged after the 24 hours period.


Delivery charges for accessories and supplies may vary between £7.00-£34.00.

Delivery charges for flooring orders may vary depending on the size of the pallet, between £35.00-£150.00

Saturday delivery is available at an additional charge.

Redelivery attempts bear additional costs.

Please note! When placing an order from these suppliers - Elka, Boen, Kahrs, Spectra, Tradewood, Xylo, Tradition, for quantities less than 6 packs of flooring, you will be charged additionally for small order charges on top of your delivery for them. This is a minimum quantity charge directly from the supplier.


Flammable or dangerous products can be delivered only by the company’s van within a 30-mile radius of the warehouse, which is based in London, NW2 7HW. For most of the hazardous products, an alternative product is available, so consult our sales assistants for the safer counterparts.



All flooring products come with a manufacturer's guarantee, which may vary between the type of products. Check the product description or consult our sales assistants for more information on the guarantee of a particular product.

Please note, the flooring product guarantee may be voided by improper methods of installation or the usage of improper materials for the installation. Make sure your fitting service comes with its own guarantee and that your flooring product is installed as per the manufacturer's recommendations.


We have carefully selected the manufacturers and suppliers of our products, so we can make sure our clients are provided with high-quality products and that we can have a solid and rapid response when things are not as expected.

Product complaints are checked with care and dealt with accordingly.



When buying online or over the phone, you have additional rights as a Consumer under the Distance Selling Regulations. By notifying us in writing (contact us via email) that your wish to return any products, or cancel an order within 14 days of receiving it or 14 days from the date of placing the order in case of requesting collection from our warehouse, we will refund you the cost of purchased goods less any delivery costs to deliver these goods to you.

Returns and Refunds are subject to receiving the purchased goods unused in their original packaging.

Goods delivered on pallets will have between £35-150 +VAT delivery costs depending on location.

A restocking charge of 25% will apply for wood flooring products bought directly at our shops and showrooms and returned between 7 - 14 days from the delivery date or from the date of placing the order in case of requesting collection from our warehouse.


Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery or collection, against proof of purchase for Direct Shop Sales and written Cancellation Requests for online and over-the-phone sales.

Goods are returned to us in unopened, original packaging at the customer's own expense.

We would be happy to arrange Collection Service at additional charges as follows:

£15+VAT for small orders

£25+VAT for long items

£100+VAT for standard pallets deliveries.

We will require all collection charges to be paid fully in advance before proceeding with arranging it.

If returning goods to us, we will not expect our customers to be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. The responsibility remains in the logistics supplier hired by the Customer for the return of the goods and therefore we will expect our customer's assistance in formalities related to recovering losses.

Online & Over the Phone Sales

  • Full refund for purchased accessories is available for orders cancelled within 7 days from delivery or 7 days from the date of placing the order in case of requesting collection from our warehouse, less any delivery costs.
  • Full refund for purchased flooring is available for orders cancelled within 7 days from the delivery date or 7 days from the date of placing the order in case of requesting collection from our warehouse, less any delivery costs and any small order charges if applicable.
  • Refunds are processed once the goods are returned to our warehouse and it might take up to 14 days depending on your card provider.
  • Refunds are issued the same way the order was paid. ( eg. if you paid cash in the store, the refund can be done only in cash)
  • Refunds are not available for products returned 14 days after the delivery date or 14 days from the date of placing the order in case of requesting collection from our warehouse.
  • Special order items, non-stock items and made-on-order items are not returnable.

Direct Sales

  • Full refund for LIQUIDS bought from the store and returned is available for orders cancelled within 7 days.
  • Refunds for LIQUIDS between 7-14 days are subject to a 20% restocking charge.
  • Refunds for LIQUIDS after 14 days are not available.
  • Full refund for purchased tools and flooring accessories is available for orders cancelled within 14 days from the purchase date.
  • Refunds for purchased flooring is available within 14 days of placing the order and are subject to 25% restocking charge and any small order charges if applicable.
  • Refunds are processed once the goods are returned to our warehouse, which might take up to 14 days depending on your card provider.
  • Refunds are issued the same way the order was paid. ( eg. if you paid cash in the store, the refund can be done only in cash)
  • Refunds are not available for products returned 14 days after the delivery date or 14 days from the date of placing the order in case of requesting collection from our warehouse.
  • Special order items, non-stock items and made-on-order items are not returnable.


Manufacturing faults should be reported to Trades Centre as soon as they are noticed. Trades Centre may instruct investigation prior to issuing any refunds, made either by Trades Centre's representative or arrange by the manufacturer. The investigation may require the Customer to provide supporting images and additional information, such as the method of use, the method of installation, applied materials and conditions.

Further actions would be dictated by the conclusion of the report prepared after the investigation. If the goods are reported to have a manufacturing fault, they would be replaced free of charge.


Tailor-made goods produced on request of the Customer;

Damaged, lost, used or goods, which are not in their original packaging;

Matching accessories, molding and thresholds ordered together with any flooring;

Beadings in any condition;

Special order items;


Trades Centre offers fitting services and a wide range of products and tools through our service division.


Trades Centre reserves the right to charge for storage of flooring products not booked for delivery within 7 working days at £35.00 per week (or £5.00 a day) ex. vat.

Storage surcharge will not apply to flooring products booked with "Supply & Fit" service for the duration of up to 4 weeks. Trades Centre reserves the right to apply a storage charge for any further delays.

12. LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, and Wales.
